EAL/D English as an additional language/dialect
The EAL/D section is included in an access request when ‘English as an Additional Language/ Dialect is chosen by the author in the set up section.
The EAL/D Profile page is completed by the EAL/D teacher or the L&S coordinator.
Identify the student’s English language competence using the four phases of the EAL/D progression for Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing and provide comments that describe the current language and learning support provided.
Describe any settlement issues and the support provided as appropriate.
