List correspondence address using the Family Report – QRG

This quick reference guide shows you how to list correspondence address using the Family Report.

Background

The Family Report lists the correspondence address, contact details and other family details of the student.

System to use

Log into the Staff portal and select ERN.

Detailed instructions

1. Select ERN School Enrolment > Reports from the menu.

2. Select Dynamic Reports > Family Report tab.

3. Select the x icon to open the Advanced Family Criteria and Family Details Display Fields.

4. Select the Family Correspondence Address check box.

5. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Report Schedule box.

6. Enter the appropriate scheduling options.

Field Description
Report Name Enter name of the report.
Run Report Select when to run the report.
Report Format Select a format for the report output (PDF or CSV for excel).
Email Notification Select if email notification is required. This option is useful for large reports where you’ll receive an email notification when the report is ready for download.

7. (Optional) Select Save Criteria button.

Note: Before selecting Schedule Report button, for frequently run reports, you can save the report criteria using this button. To retrieve the saved report criteria in the future, select the Load Criteria button.

8. Select the Schedule Report button.

9. Select the paper icon, and then select Download against the report you wish to download.

Tip: Alternatively, you can also select My Report from the main menu, and then select Download against the report you wish to download. The advantage of using the paper icon is that you can amend the report criteria and schedule the report again, if required.
Note: To delete a report from the list, select the report and then select the Delete Report button.
