Meet your hosts
Shannon
Shannon is a primary teacher with experience teaching high potential and gifted students in NSW public schools. After completing a Master of Teaching (Primary) at Western Sydney University, Shannon taught in primary schools spanning Western Sydney.
In Shannon's current role as a Senior ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Officer, she leads the Beyond the Line Program which supports initial teacher education students to complete an expenses-paid, week-long study tour with the NSW Department of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø, across regional, rural and remote NSW public schools. Favourite subject to teach at school: It has to be science, I'm obsessed with any lesson that we can embed experiments or identify cross-curricular links.
Canteen or bus duty: Canteen, to have a sticky beak at snack choices.
Siobhan
Siobhan is a high school teacher, who has taught English to students across a diverse range of NSW public school settings. Siobhan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø (Secondary) from the University of New South Wales.

In her current role as a Senior ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Officer, Siobhan enjoys sharing her knowledge with beginning and pre-service teachers and raising awareness of the benefits, scholarships and opportunities available with the NSW Department of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø.
