Sustainability is incorporated in all NSW syllabuses. The department's Environmental ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Policy supports effective environmental education programs in public schools in NSW.
The NSW Department of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø has 25 Environmental and zoo education centres that support learning about sustainability. These centres are located across NSW and are staffed by qualified NSW Department of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø teachers.
