A guiding principle of the National Quality Framework (NQF) is that Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are valued. Fostering children’s understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures is particularly relevant to Quality Area 1 and the following resources will support educators to highlight and honour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
