Progress student registration status – QRG

This quick reference guide shows you how to progress a student's registration status from Applied to Enrol (Incomplete) to Applied to Enrol (Risk Assessed) in ERN.

Background

Students registered for the following year will generally have a status of Applied to Enrol (Incomplete) until all mandatory documentation is sighted and the risk assessment is completed.

Principal’s Declaration and record of evidence must be completed to progress the student registration status to Applied to Enrol (Risk Assessed).

System to use

Log in to the staff portal and select ERN.

Detailed instructions

1. Select ERN School Enrolment > Student Enquiry from the menu.

2. Select Applied to Enrol (Incomplete) from the Registration Status drop down list or search for a single student using family name and first name, and then select the Go button.

Tip: The Calendar year defaults to the current year. For students enrolling in the following year you will need to change the Calendar Year using the drop down list.

The search results are displayed.

3. Select the required student from the list.

Tip: If there is only one matching student record, the student details will be displayed on the screen.

The student record is displayed.

4. Select the Modify full registration icon.

The Student Registration Form is displayed.

5. Navigate to the page 13/14 of the Application to Enrol form, and then complete the Principal's Declaration.

Note: The student's registration status will now progress to Enrolled (In Attendance).
