How parents/carers can update their SRE/SEE preferences online
Parents/carers can update their SRE/SEE preferences online, if their schools has set up their SRE/SEE options in the Online Enrolment System
There are 2 ways parents/carers can provide their preferences:
Initially when completing an online enrolment application, parents/carers can choose their SRE/SEE preference in the supplementary details section of the application.
Or if they have already enrolled they can update their preference by using this that is found on the Religion and Ethics page of their school’s website.
SRE/SEE preference update logging in with an email address
1. The parent/carer can go to the shown above and enter their email address. Then press log in using your email.
A one-time password is required for verification when they log in for the first time.
2. Once logged in, the parent/carer will need to press update SRE/SEE preference.
3. Enter the relevant school and scholastic year.
4. If the school is not offering SRE/SEE for that schoolastic year or does not allow updates online, the message below will be shown.
5. If the school is offering SRE/SEE for the scholastic year the parent/carer selected, the following screen will appear.
All mandatory fields must be completed and the information must match the child's enrolment details.
Press proceed.
6. The parent/carer will then be shown the SRE/SEE options, they will need to choose their preference and press proceed.
7. The parent/carer will need to review all information entered and complete the declaration section. Then press submit.
8. A confirmation screen will appear confirming the update has been submitted. The parent/carer will receive an email notification.
9. If the parent/carer returns to their dashboard, they will see any recent updates submitted. If they press view, they will see that their request is with the school for review.
SRE/SEE preference update logging in with a Service NSW account
1. If a parent/carer chooses to log in with Service NSW, some details may be prefilled in the online form.
2. The parent/carer will need to click on update SRE/SEE preference.
3. If there is a record associated in ERN, the parent/carer is given the option to select the relevant student or start a blank form. Then press proceed.
4. The parent/carer then chooses their SRE/SEE preference and presses proceed.
5. The parent/carer must review all information entered and complete the declaration section. Then press submit.
6. The following screen will appear confirming the parent/carer's update has been submitted.
The parent/carer will also receive an email notification confirming their update has been submitted.
