If the provider does not appear under any title/religion, please check the provider is on the approved provider list.
If you have further questions regarding approved providers please contact the Program Manager – Special Religious ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø and Special ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø in Ethics.
Only approved providers with the title/religion with combined showing in the title.
For example:
‘Combined Christian - Baptist Union of NSW, Presbyterian Church of Australia in NSW and Uniting Church in Australia (NSW&ACT Synod)
or
‘Combined Islamic - Australian Islamic ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Services and Islamic Council of NSW (ISRE)’.
All other title/religions must be only one provider e.g. ‘Anglican – Anglican Diocese of Sydney’ or ‘Buddhist - Buddhist Council of NSW’.
Approved providers are required to submit to the school before the start of each year, an authorisation letter which provides the name(s) of the approved providers(s) and the link to the authorised curriculum scope and sequence.
The Department provides templates for approved providers to use but they may use their own. See the screening requirements page for more information about authorisation letters and screening.
The descriptions autofill based on which title you have selected.
Schools can edit the Alternative Meaningful Activities (AMA) option with local context information.
The descriptions for the SRE and SEE options have been provided by the approved providers. Schools should not make a change without consultation and agreement with the approved provider.
