Setting up the SRE/SEE options for your school
The purpose of this guide is to provide instructions on how to set up the Special Religious ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø (SRE) and Special ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø in Ethics (SEE) options for your schools.
Special Religious ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø (SRE) set up
1. Log into the Online Enrolment System (OES)
2. Click on the settings icon in the top right-hand corner
3. From the list click on the SRE/SEE Options
4. In the Special Religious ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø section click add new
The following screen will appear
5. Click on the drop-down box named title and select the necessary religion.
6. Click on the drop-down box named provider and select the necessary provider/s. Please Note: only add one provider per religion, unless there is a combined arrangement and you have chosen a combined religion e.g. Combined Christian.
7. Add in the SRE providers curriculum link.
8. The description field will be prefilled but can be edited in consultation with the approved provider, if required.
9. Click one or more relevant scholastic year/s (only years relevant to your school will be shown)
10. Then click save and close.
11. Check the box to confirm changes have been approved and click confirm changes
Special ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø in Ethics (SEE) set up
1. Log into the Online Enrolment System
2. Click on the settings icon in the top right-hand corner
3. From the list click on the SRE/SEE Options
4. In the Special ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø in Ethics section click add new
The following screen will appear
5. Click on the drop-down box named provider and select the necessary provider/s.
6. Add in the SEE providers curriculum link.
7. The description field will be prefilled but can be edited in consultation with the approved provider, if required.
8. Click one or more relevant scholastic year/s (only years relevant to your school will be shown)
9. Then click save and close.
10. Check the box to confirm changes have been approved and click confirm changes
Alternative Meaningful Activities (AMA) set up
If an SRE or SEE option has been chosen, the Alternative Meaningful Activities option will be available by default.
Please note: The title or provider cannot be changed, only the description can be updated
- Change the description of AMA, if required
- Then click save and close.
- Check the box to confirm changes have been approved and click confirm changes
