Public ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Week 2026 – Inspiring Excellence
Public ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Week 2026 will be held from 3–7 August (Term 3, Week 3), and this year’s theme is Inspiring Excellence.
Public ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Week is a time to come together and celebrate the strength, diversity and achievements of NSW public education — where every student is supported to learn, grow and thrive.
Why it matters to families
Public ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Week is a great opportunity for schools to open their doors, welcome parents, carers and community members, and showcase the incredible learning experiences happening every day. From early learning to Year 12, public schools across the state will be celebrating the people and programs that make a difference in students’ lives.
We encourage families to get involved by attending open days, school events or community celebrations. It’s a chance to see firsthand how schools are inspiring excellence in every child — through creative classrooms, dedicated staff and inclusive school cultures.
For school staff
Schools can access a communications toolkit to help celebrate this week. The toolkit will be available in Term 2. The toolkit includes:
Canva templates for social media tiles and posters
Certificate templates to recognise student and staff achievement
A website banner and virtual meeting background
Resources to support open day planning.
