State-wide Learning Circles delivery
Term 1 - Leading Aboriginal ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø in schools
This professional learning focuses on deepening participants’ educational and instructional leadership in Aboriginal ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø. Grounded in the Guiding Principles in Leading Aboriginal ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø, it supports the development of sustained, school-wide culturally responsive systems, processes, and learning environments that enhance outcomes for both Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students and non-Aboriginal students.
This course is designed for School Executive teams and Aboriginal ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø team leaders.
Participants will learn to:
- explain the importance of culturally responsive leadership in Aboriginal ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø for all students
- plan to lead whole-school practice to ensure Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students have access to high-quality learning environments across the whole school
- develop a theory of action to engage in evidence-informed practice to effectively lead improvement in outcomes and meet educational goals for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander/all students.

Term 2 - Community Engagement

Term 3 - Personalised Learning Pathways
- Strengthen PLP processes through authentic student, family and community voice
- Build capability to sustain and monitor PLPs

Term 4 - Culturally Responsive Teaching
- Culturally responsive teaching and learning
- Strengthen teacher capability to teach through culture, not just about culture
- Deepen understanding of local Country and its authentic integration into curriculum and pedagogy
