Work Studies and Work ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø curriculum
The NSW ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Standards Authority (NESA) has created two courses to help students in years 7 to 12 prepare for life after school.
The Work Studies course (years 11–12) supports students as they move from school to work. It helps students understand the challenges they may face during this transition and teaches the skills needed for career planning and performing tasks in the workplace.
The Work ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø course (years 7–10) prepares students for the working world by helping them learn about the importance of education, training, and employment. It also highlights the value of lifelong learning to support career development and manage changes throughout life.
