Preliminary dance appreciation
Throughout this unit students develop knowledge, understanding, and skills of dance analysis through the context of the work Sarabande by Jiřà Kylián. They learn about the eclectic nature of dance as they study the sociohistoric context of the work through first impressions, interpreting the work, describing the work and evaluating the work.
