Additional resources for support in times of crisis

Schools play a critical role in maintaining connection and engagement with students and families during periods of uncertainty and community unease. Below are some resources and supports that are available to schools.

Bondi Beach attack

Support is available to schools and communities, in response to the attack at Bondi Beach that occurred on Sunday, 14 December 2025. The NSW Government has a dedicated webpage for those affected by the which includes mental health support and victim support services.

The Multicultural ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø unit promotes intercultural understanding, anti-racism, social inclusion in schools, support for English language learners, students from refugee backgrounds and newly arrived students and resources and advice to counter religious intolerance.

  • The Religious Intolerance Helpline webpage provides information and resources about reporting bullying or intolerance on the basis of religious belief or spirituality.
  • You can access the Religious Intolerance Helpline by calling 1300 679 332. The helpline provides support for students, staff and community members with information, report referral and management, and support services.

  • Reconciliation in education – Narragunnawali supports schools and early learning services in Australia to develop environments that foster a higher level of knowledge and pride in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and contributions.
