How to use Withdraw, Decline, Offer - High Schools

High Schools can use the Withdraw, Decline or Offer options to manage Year 7 expressions of interest in the Online Enrolment System.

When choosing to either withdraw, offer or decline, an email will be sent to the parent/carer. There are email templates to assist schools when communicating with parents.

1. Select the relevant student in the Year 7 incoming tracking sheet

2. Click on the Withdraw button. The following screen may vary depending upon the timing of the EOI process.

Withdraw an EOI after the EOI window has closed

After clicking on the Withdraw button the following screen will appear, adding comments and supporting documents is optional. Click on the Confirm application withdrawal button to complete the action.

Please note: Withdrawing the EOI will result in all out-of-area preferences being withdrawn. The student will be automatically allocated to their designated high school.

Decline a place

The Decline button only appears for out-of-area applications.
Click on the Decline button and the screen will display options to provide further comments or upload documents. When ready, click on the Confirm decline enrolment button. The EOI will become available to the next choice of high school or their designated high school.

Please note: Declining an EOI should only be actioned after your school has determined that the student will not be offered a place at your school in accordance with the Enrolment of Students in NSW Government Schools policy and the Year 6 to Year 7 Action schedule.

Offer a place

Click on the Offer button and the screen will display options to provide further comments or upload supporting documents. When ready click on the Make offer of enrolment button.
