How to navigate the online enrolment system
Please note: Screen captures below show fictitious examples only.
1. When opening the Online Enrolment System you will be taken to the Dashboard. You can switch between other views by clicking on the arrow.
2. The dashboard provides an overview of enrolment applications, out-of-area applications and any updates to a students SRE/SEE preference.
3. In the top right hand corner you can access Help & FAQs or Report an issue by clicking the Help button.
4. FAQs and Report an issue are also available in the centre of the dashboard.
5. Click Settings to adjust information including:
- Enrolment timeframes for parent/carer communication
- Enrolment capacity and selection criteria
- Special Religious ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø and Special ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø in Ethics offerings.
Please note: The Help and Settings buttons are available on all pages.
6. Use the arrow in the left hand corner to access the drop-down menu.
Pending Enrolment Applications
You will see these features across multiple views:
- To find a student, type their name into the search bar and press enter. You can also use the filters to find groups of students e.g. those in a particular scholastic year.
- To view an application in detail, click on the student’s name.
- This shows application type.
- This shows if the enrolment application is in area or out of area.
- SRN link indicates if the application has been linked to a record in ERN or a new student may need to be created.
- This shows the status of the application.
- An exclamation mark will appear if there are outstanding actions that is required to be resolved. To find out more go to How to complete actions
Processed applications view
In the Processed applications view you can see the applications that have been Sent to ERN or Withdrawn.
Student details view
Exclamation marks show where updates are required.
- Select Check or Check for an existing SRN to determine if there is a record of this student in ERN.
- This shows the number of actions you need to review on this record.
- This section contains the student and family details submitted by the parent or carer in their application.
- You can click on any section with a red exclamation mark. For more information about resolving issues go to How to complete actions
- You must resolve all the actions or conflicts before the Send to ERN button is enabled.
- You can select Withdraw if the application is no longer required. Please note: applications that have been ‘sent and locked’ in ERN cannot be amended. For more information about withdrawing applications go to How to withdraw an application
- The last staff member to have worked on the application is shown here.
- Click the arrow to return to previous list view.
Out-of-area applications view
Key features of out-of-area applications:
1. In the Pending applications tab, you can view or action new out-of-area applications.
2. Select the Processed tab to see which students have been offered a place, declined or withdrawn.
3. The status of each application is shown in both views.

Year 6 to 7 transition
You will see the relevant page for your school
1. Primary schools managing outgoing Year 6 students.
2. High schools managing incoming Year 7 students.

Student detail updates
View the number and type of updates required:
- In the Pending tab, click on the relevant row to process the request.
- Select the Processed tab to see which requests have been actioned.
