For providers

Out of school hours care (OOSH) providers play a critical role in delivering flexible, affordable, and high quality services for families. These services include a mix of before and after school care, and vacation care, for primary school students.

Increasing access to OOSH for families can only be achieved with the support of the hundreds of care providers across NSW.

The Shared Use of Schools team supports the viability, expansion, and sustainability of OOSH services through a range of initiatives and solutions. These include:

  • Contract managers for on the ground support to providers and principals;
  • Sector support including information on tender application processes.

OOSH providers can contact the Shared Use of Schools team by email on SharedUseofSchools@det.nsw.edu.au.
